To welcome our participants to America and jumpstart their cultural experience, World Wide Cultural Exchange incorporated a baseball game as part of the participant’s arrival orientation day! Sports are an important part of every culture. Participants can learn so much from attending a baseball game; the participants taste classic game-day cuisine, they learn new songs like “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”, they see the beautifully crafted mascots that pump up the crowd, and they can people-watch all the American spectators. Our group enjoyed all these aspects, and we even had some winners - two participants received balls from the game and another won a shirt!
