The International Cultural Exchange Agencies Association (ICEAA) is a collective of five agencies in the Dominican Republic who collaborate to ensure that their programs are at the highest standard and and are providing both personal and professional benefits to the participants. Our partner, GLOEX, is a member of ICEAA and shared the success of their 2019 Welcome Party with us. Agents are integral to the participants experience, and we’re proud to have a partner that has put on such an incredible event to close out the 2019 season and welcome the 2020 prospective participants.

The annual event drew 6,000 participants this year to share stories with one another, dance to popular Dominican music artists, and be entered into a raffle for a free SWT 2020 program (there were 26 winners!). The event provided an opportunity for future participants to learn first-hand about the Summer Work and Travel program from alumni. Overall, this event is a celebration of international exchanges and the connections we can create at home and abroad.
