Engaged Employer: Loews Philadelphia

Located in the heart of Philly within the Philadelphia Savings Fund Society, a National Landmark and first modern skyscraper in the USA, Loews Philadelphia welcomes guests with warm, high-class hospitality. Four exchange visitors from India joined the Loews Philadelphia team, adding a wealth of talent and enthusiasm to their team.

In the Food and Beverage department, Daniella and Nishant have created a strong relationship with heir co-workers, executing their duties at a high standard and lending a hand to others when needed. Sahil and Aasma dedicate themselves to improving their culinary skills, valuable to both their professional growth and guest satisfaction.

Through the BridgeUSA program, exchange visitors and host employers are building bridges between nations, and cultural curiosity is key to mutual understanding. Understanding the importance of this, Loews Philadelphia organized a trip to the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham, the second largest Hindu Temple in the world, located in New Jersey. The predominant religion in India is Hindu, and the architecture of Hindu temples is an icon of India. The cultural activity allowed the exchange visitors to connect with their culture and share their culture firsthand with fellow team members. The exchange visitors had an exceptional day, citing it as one of the best of their program.

We encourage all host employers to invest in cultural opportunities to enrich the experience for exchange visitors and domestic employees as we continue to create better world relations through people-to-people exchanges.
